Current Project

Project Paraguay

This past year has been a wonderful experience learning and growing as an organization. Since our organization started in 2018, we have launched Project Paraguay and already helped two schools in that country.

Our first mission trip was in August 2019, when we visited six different schools in Paraguay.  Of those schools, we decided to first help the school Santa Lucia located in the rural area of Polento Cue.

They had a small garden started and thanks to a generous donation from Adrian and Ashley Brambila we were able to help buy gardening tools, supplies and fencing materials to allow them to expand their garden and help feed the students.

The students, parents, and teachers are all involved in this garden project. Recently, we received news that an agricultural university in Paraguay heard about this garden project and decided to collaborate with school officials by having all the students work together to maintain the garden.

 2022 Barrio Alegre- Guarambare

After the COVID-19 pandemic we were able to help another school in Paraguay called Barrio Alegre located in Guarambare. We provided them with the equipment needed to start their own garden to help feed the students. Students state they are so excited to eat lettuce wrapped in tortillas every time they attend school now! The students, parents, and teachers are all very thankful to be involved in this garden project.

We can’t wait to revisit the schools this upcoming year and see all the work they have accomplished!
